While cats are the most popular pet in the United States, owners aren't spending as much on veterinary care, according to a survey by the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association. The survey shows that American dog owners spend an average of $219 on veterinary visits every year, but cat owners spend only $175. Go to Veterinarians seeing fewer cat cases than dogs.
