Denver-The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) has released a new report on veterinary purchasing.

The report, "Influences on Product Purchasing," is the latest addition to the "AAHA Leading Practice Report," a series of syndicated studies created to assist the industry.The report includes data on what influences veterinary practices to buy one product over another.

A major study finding addresses client compliance with product recommendations. On average, respondents estimated that clients bought the products veterinarians and practice staff recommended to them 77 percent of the time.

Survey data was collected via the Internet and includes crosstabulations of data by practice size and location.
