AABP annual student award winners named
Schering-Plough Animal health sponsors the national prize that awards veterinary students interested in pursuing a career in dairy or beef veterinary medicine with $1,000 and a plaque at the AABP conference that takes place in Salt Lake City on September. Winners are selected from national applicants based on background, interest in bovine medicine, academic and work achievement and career goals. Students honored with the award include: J. Egan Brockhoff, fourth year student at the College of Veterinary medicine, University of Saskatchewan Nathan Dorshorst, a fourth-year student at the University of Wisconsin Rebecca Mentink, third-year student, University of Wisconsin Joe Shockey, fourth-year student, The Ohio State University Matthew Walker, fourth-year student, the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island |
