The university and NeoTREX (a division of CSU Ventures) inked an exclusive option agreement with Joveis, Inc. of Napa, Calif. for the development of these therapeutics.

Kansas City, Mo. -- A judge Feb. 4 sentenced two owners of a pet-food company implicated in the 2007 recall that is estimated to have killed about 4,000 pets to three years' probation and levied fines of $25,000 on the company and $5,000 for each of the owners.

Nepean, Ontario, Canada -- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has advised that, as of Jan. 31, equine owners who plan to sell their horses either directly or indirectly to Canadian meat processors should record all vaccines and medications given to the horses as well as any illnesses.
