Bravo! recalls pig ear treats for possible Salmonella contamination

Vernon, Conn. — Bravo! is voluntarily recalling some of its pig ear chews because of a possible Salmonella contamination.

Only Bravo! 50-count bulk Oven-Roasted Pig Ears (Lot # 12-06-10) are affected by the recall, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The pig ear treats were distributed to retailers on the East and Wests coasts between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28, 2011.

The recalled product can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund, says Bravo! Questions may be directed to Bravo! at (866) 922-9222 or at bravorawdiet.com.
