CRISP COUNTY, GA. — A three-month marijuana distribution investigation came to a close Feb. 9 when law enforcement officials found 20 marijuana
plants in Dr. Ronald Lee Wilkie's Arabi, Ga., clinic, plus another 80 in his home.
The Mid-South Narcotics Task Force, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Crisp County Sheriff's Office executed search
warrants on Wilkie, 51, at his practice, Companion Care Animal Hospital, and his home.
Police say they also seized growing lights, transformers, CO2 systems, fertilizers, containers, filtration systems and other
items that would enable a setup capable of producing large amounts of various marijuana species.
Brandon Wayne Nutt, 32, of Cordele, Ga., was arrested with Wilkie, and both are charged with manufacturing marijuana and conspiracy
to distribute marijuana.
