Dr. Randall id a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Canine and Feline Practice) and owns Cloverleaf Animal Hospital in Medina, Ohio. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and of the Executive Veterinary Program, Small Animal Management, a two-year Masters level course at the University of Illinois. Dr. Randall writes frequently for several national and local magazines on veterinary-related topics.
Developing vaccination protocols for cats and dogs used to seem like an exercise in futility. But now that the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) have each published vaccination guidelines for these species the exercise has become more rewarding because practitioners can now use this information as a benchmark to tailor a specific program for each patient.
