Dr. Carney received her veterinary degree from Colorado State University 1981 and opened a feline practice the following year. She has a master’s of science degree in physiology and biophysics and achieved ABVP Canine and Feline Diplomate status in 1994. Dr. Carney is a noted speaker and lectured and published in the areas of feline medicine and behavior. She is employed by Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Idaho in Boise, and Feline Special Treatment Center of Four Rivers Veterinary Clinic, Ontario, Oregon

Anthony P. Carr
Dr. Carr is an associate professor in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan's Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Canada. He received his veterinary degree from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany. After three years in small animal practice he completed an internship at the University of Wisconsin-Columbia and a residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine since 1997. After time in private referral practice and telemedicine consulting he returned to the academic world in 2000.

Gwendolyn L. Carroll, MS, DVM, Dipl. ACVA, Certified IVAS
Dr. Carroll is an associate professor of anesthesiology at Texas A&M University. She received a master’s degree in animal science with a major in genetics and her veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Carroll was a small animal practitioner for eight years before returning to North Carolina State University for a postdoctoral fellowship in postoperative analgesia. At the conclusion of her fellowship, she completed a residency in anesthesiology at NCSU and became a diplomate in the ACVA in 1992. She has been at Texas A&M since 1991.
