dvm360, DVM Newsmagazine win two national awards

New York, N.Y. -- dvm360.com and DVM Newsmagazine won two coveted national journalism awards, and ranked as a finalist for two other awards.

The Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards are considered the Pulitzer Prize of business-to-business journalism.

In early March, dvm360.com reeled in honors for Best Website, and DVM Newsmagazine was awarded Best Single Issue of Newsmagazine/News Tabloid for its April 2010 publication. As finalists in the competition, dvm360.com placed in the category of Best E-newsletter – Linked Content for Business360, and DVM Newsmagazine's Dr. Michael A. Obenski was recognized in the Best Commentary category for his humorous column “Where did I go wrong?”

dvm360.com Editor Jessica Zemler and DVM Newsmagazine Editor Daniel R. Verdon accepted these awards on behalf of the editorial teams recently at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City.

The Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards competition is sponsored by New York-based American Business Media, a national organization representing business-to-business media companies. The awards drew hundreds of entries in 19 categories and were created to recognize editorial excellence by independent business publications.
