Horse owners in Texas town warned of scam

West Odessa, Texas - Horse owners in West Odessa, Texas are being warned of a telephone phone scam in which callers contact horse owners to report a strangles outbreak.

The person then says local veterinarians have a shortage of immunizations to treat the disease and offers to sell a vaccine to the owner.

Odessa Animal Control says none of the information is true.
