JEFFERSON CITY, MO. — A new bill in Missouri will give the state pharmacy board authority over retail veterinary legend drugs, but also adds a licensed veterinarian to the board's advisory committee.

The veterinarian committee member will be able to review and make recommendations on rules regarding veterinary legend drugs. Senate Bill 325, signed into law July 7, also requires employers to provide a list of licensed employees to the board and will require the board to notify employers of any changes to license status.
