CORVALLIS, ORE. - 5/06/05 - Clinical training will be offered to Ross University (RU) students through a partnership formed with Oregon State University (OSU).

OSU is the 23rd accredited U.S. veterinary school to become affiliated with RU.

Students will spend the first seven semesters of pre-clinical training at RU, then return to the United States for three semesters with the AVMA-accredited school.

OSU will provide 48 weeks of training. While at RU, students will be required to meet the standards expected from OSU veterinary students, officials say.

The U.S.-accredited schools allow RU students to gain practical experience while working side-by-side with peers.
