Logan, Utah — The Utah State University (USU) Board of Trustees moved a step closer to launching a new veterinary program in collaboration with the veterinary college at Washington State University.

The final proposal will have to be approved by Utah Board of Regents, according to news reports.

If the proposal passes, veterinary students would complete the first two years of the program in Logan and finish their studies at WSU’s veterinary college in Pullman, Wash.
