North Grafton, Mass. -- Tufts wants to harness the wind to power its veterinary school.

In fact, the the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine caught a $39,760 grant by the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative to study the feasibility of using wind turbines to generate energy at its Westboro and North Grafton campuses.

The grant hopefully will save the school on energy costs and promote green energy use, the college reports. A feasibility study was conducted earlier this year to determine whether the winds around the campuses would be strong enough to generate sufficient energy.
